A Hike in the Foothills of San Bernardino with the Meyers

On the morning of September 29, 2012 we went on a hike in the foothills of San Bernardino, California with our good friends, Devon and Jen Meyers and their two dogs, Luna and Athena.  We got to see most of the sunrise.  Here are some pictures from this two-hour long hike.

The city of San Bernardino and the surrounding area before sunrise

A view of San Bernardino and the surrounding area as the sun began to rise

A view of the hills and mountains that lay before as we hiked.  Can you see the aqueduct?

Valrie waves along the hike as Jen Meyers follows with her dog Luna

At the top at last!  Devon Meyers standing at the top

Cody standing at the top of one of the foothills, feeling proud of the accomplishment.

Another picture of us at the top of the foothill.  The scene was very beautiful as the sun continued to rise, all except the line of smog that was seen in the distance.  We are sure you can see it in these pictures in the background.

And yet another view of Jen and Devon Meyers with their dogs Luna (the goldish one) and Athena (the black one) atop the foothill.  This time we had them face another direction

The sun begins to peak over the hills and mountains.  Do you see the aqueduct again?
